A Life of Service
David Purkey has resided in West Virginia for 60 years, with ancestors going back many more generations. A graduate of Fairmont State and West Virginia University, he currently works as a project manager on Abandoned Mine Land Projects — transforming damaged WV lands into something good again.
A volunteer in WV prisons for over 35 years and a servant leader who traveled to Kenya, Africa to install water systems serving 4,000+ people — David leads with action, not just words.
